Our books Our tours were suspended during the pandemic but we have started again. We have a reduced programme in January and February. The story of the resistance fighters (who came from all backgrounds) the prisons, the plight of the Jews and the round ups. Everyday life during the Occupation, many poignant and revealing stories and the heroic acts of ordinary people. Meet at metro Sevres Babylone, exit 3 at junction of rue de Sevres and bvd Raspail, by the garden. The Medieval Latin Quarter 2.30pm (Mon 25 Dec and 1 Jan ) A walk through this atmospheric district, to see highlights and hidden details. Roman remains, charming old streets, two beautiful ancient churches, a gothic house and garden, the story of medieval scholars and the famous Sorbonne university, still a place of study today. This walk will show you how attractive and charming the Latin Quarter still is. Meet at metro Maubert-Mutualité (line 10) outside the café Le Metro, 60 boulevard St Germain. The Chocolate and Pastry Tasting Tour (Fri 29 Dec 2.30pm) Learn how to select and appreciate top quality chocolate. We visit a variety of superb chocolatiers on this enjoyable walk which mixes history and anecdotes with delicious chocolate and pastry tasting. Meet at metroTuileries. (Price 45€ including tastings) Please reserve and pay by 1pm the day beforehand. There will be no more scheduled walks in January and a few tours in February but private tours can be arranged during this time. Daily tours will start again in March
