Exhibitions

The Exhibition Season in Paris runs all year, temporary exhibitions are held in all major Museums including the Louvre and the Musée d'Orsay. You need to check each individual museum for ticketing arrangements and in most cases a ticket pre-booked on line is necessary. Grand and Petit Palais host major Art exhibitions regularly. The Carnavalet Museum hosts exhibitions that trace various aspects of life in Paris through the ages and often honours the work of photographers. Paris' What's On magazine is called 'L'Officiel des Spectacles' and is available at news kiosks for about 2:50€ (Concerts, Cinema, theatre etc)

Modern Art Exhibitions :
See Pompidou Centre (Closed at present for renovation) Musée d'Art Moderne, Luxembourg Museum, Zadkine Museum, Picasso Museum, Fondation Louis Vuitton, Maillol Museum

SPRING 2026 - MATISSE :
There is a large Matisse Retrospective to look forward to this Spring at the Grand Palais. From 26th March to 24th June a large exhibition devoted to his works form 1941 - 1954 will be on show. On line booking is already available from Grand Palais website
